Well everyone I would like to welcome you to the sime game ladder. I would also like to thank sime for letting me put a chess ladder in operation. I would like to bring your attention to the blitz ladder - for games less than 10 minutes and the slow time control ladder for games longer than 15 minutes.

I am hoping some of you have played chess before and if not I hope you give this a try. We will be using Freechess (www.freechess.org) as the main server for games - I recommend using Babaschess as an interface to access it once an account is made. If you have any questions about this you can ask me or sime since he managed to muddle his way through it.

If there is anyone who wants a specific gametype ladder pm me in the forums. I am considering creating a ladder for bughouse teams (if enough people join the regular chess ladders) and maybe even a teams based slow chess league - would require about 20 people or so.

Anyway - a piece of advice in chess related to the title of this post - there are 64 squares on the board and you have to be aware of what is happening on each one. Its about the whole board as well as those narrow mating attacks.

Hope you will check out the ladders. Thanks

Welcome to the newest corner of the "...soap in my EYES!" network. Over the next few weeks we hope to get one or two game ladders rolling and plan on starting even more.

UT2004 Demo Instagib CTF has been our "bread and butter" the last few years so it seems logical to kick things off with a UT2004 Demo Instagib CTF ladder.

There´s already talk of another instagibCTF tournament and we´ll use this new ladder/tournament system to help keep track of the players and matches. All participants will need to be registered here with at minimum a working email address.

Thanks for checking things out and we hope to see you competing for top rankings.

Regards sime.°
